May 9 - 6:00 PM Gr. 5-8 Spring Musical,

This year Staff Appreciation Week will be held May 5th - 9th.

This is an opportunity to show our pastor, teachers, and staff how much they mean to us!
Plans are underway to organize a fantastic week for our staff, and donation envelopes have already been sent home. Additional envelopes and donation boxes can be found in the gym hallway, outside the preschool room, and on the table near the church office. You may also donate online via tithe.ly on the St. John’s website (stjohnsbc.org) by selecting “Staff Appreciation” with the drop-down arrow.

In addition to monetary donations, we would like to provide breakfast and lunch items for the staff each day. To sign up, please see the form on the cart in the gym hallway or contact Amy Krager.

On a daily basis, the teachers supervise the children during lunch and recess. We’d like to provide some relief and give them some free time during these periods. If you have time during the day and would be willing to watch the children during lunch or recess, contact Amy Krager or sign up via the form on the cart in the gym hallway.

Let’s work together to show the staff how much we appreciate all they do at St. John’s!

Ideas needed! If anyone has any ideas for next year please share with us and/or join our group!

Events our established by our volunteer committees and groups here at St. John’s. You can view all the different ways you can help volunteer on our Volunteer page HERE. We welcome you to join us for one of the scheduled meetings.

For Paul wrote in Romans 12: 6-8 “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully”
