ST. JOHN’S LUTHERAN CHURCH AND SCHOOL HAS BEEN SHARING GOD’S GRACE FOR OVER 150 YEARS.
St. John’s Lutheran is a Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod church and school with the main focus of sharing God’s Grace. We are truly blessed to have helped spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ our Savior for over 150 years through our church and school here at St. John’s, Bay City.
ST. JOHN’S LUTHERAN CHURCH
How blessed is our congregation here at St. John’s Lutheran to be able to celebrate over 150 years under God’s grace! Through wars and peace, prosperity and depression, life and death, the Lord has preserved His kingdom among us.
Jesus Christ our Savior continues to be proclaimed. The gospel continues to be shared with Bay City and around the world. We know not what the future holds. Certainly, opposition to Christ is on the increase around the world. The love of many Christians is growing cold.
“The Word of the Lord stands forever and this is the Word that was proclaimed to you.”
— 1 Peter 1:25
Nevertheless, we do know that, “The Word of the Lord stands forever,” (1 Peter 1:25a). Nothing will have a greater influence on the individual and on society than God’s Word, “and this is the Word that was proclaimed to you” (1 Peter 1:25b).
ST. JOHN’S LUTHERAN SCHOOL
St. John’s Lutheran is a Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod school instructing children in all core subjects, but the main focus is on God’s Grace. From preschool to 8th grade the children who are enrolled here are taught that God’s Word, the Bible, is the guide in which our lives should be lead. Through God’s grace and love for us and the Words He gave to us we are able to live our life according to His will. Our dedicated teachers are willing to help each student become the best they can be with the help of our Lord.
“Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
-Proverbs 22:6
By God’s grace, St. John’s Lutheran School will continue to instruct our children according to His Word and live that Word until Christ’s return.
We are truly blessed to have helped spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ our Savior for over 150 years through our school here at St. John’s.
